This Privacy Policy explains how TrimWise collects, uses, stores, and protects information when you use the TrimWise mobile application, website, and related services.
2. Information We Collect
Account information
We may collect your email address, account identifiers, and information you choose to provide when creating or managing your account.
Profile and wellness information
Depending on the features you use, TrimWise may process information such as age range, sex, height, weight, goals, dietary preferences, allergies, fitness level, workout preferences, meal entries, calorie and macronutrient data, water intake, steps, and progress information.
Photos and camera access
If you use meal-photo features, TrimWise may access the camera or photos you select so the app can analyze the image and provide an estimated nutrition result. Camera access is optional and may be disabled in your device settings.
Device and usage information
We may collect limited technical information such as device type, operating system, app version, crash data, and feature usage to improve reliability, security, and performance.
Purchase information
Subscriptions are processed through the Apple App Store or another authorized platform. TrimWise does not directly receive or store your full payment-card details.
3. How We Use Information
- Provide and personalize TrimWise features.
- Generate nutrition estimates, workouts, and coaching insights.
- Maintain accounts, subscriptions, and customer support.
- Improve app performance, safety, and reliability.

4. Artificial Intelligence Features
Some TrimWise features use artificial intelligence to generate estimates, recommendations, and coaching content. AI-generated outputs may be incomplete or inaccurate and should be reviewed before relying on them.
5. Sharing of Information
We may share information with service providers that help us operate TrimWise, such as cloud hosting, authentication, analytics, crash reporting, subscription management, and AI-processing providers. These providers are authorized to use information only as necessary to perform services for TrimWise.
We do not sell your personal information.
6. Data Retention
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Account-related information may be deleted or de-identified after an account-deletion request is completed, subject to legally required retention.
7. Account Deletion
You may initiate account deletion inside the TrimWise app through the account settings. Deleting an account does not automatically cancel an App Store subscription. Subscriptions must be managed through your Apple ID subscription settings.
8. Data Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. No electronic system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
9. Children's Privacy
TrimWise is not directed to children under 13 and is not intended for use by anyone who cannot legally consent to the processing of their information in their jurisdiction.
10. Your Choices
You may update certain profile information in the app, manage permissions in device settings, cancel subscriptions through the applicable app store, or request support by email.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The revised policy will be posted on this page with an updated date.
